Week 72: December 31, 2018 - Christmas Miracles

It was such a great Christmas week!!! It was so awesome talking to you guys on the video chat!!!! You guys all look so good!!!! You guys always have such a warm, positive energy!!! I love you guys sooo much!!!! The whole time we were talking, I kept thinking it was a dream!! I couldnt believe I was actually talking to you!!! hahahaha You guys are seriously the best family ever!!!!
Right after the video chat, Elder Freeman and I had a huge dinner with a member on the other side of the island. We ate soooo much food!!!!! I was painfully full after!!! I titled that day in my journal, FULL Christmas! We had an awesome lesson the next day with some people that love right next to our house. There names are Pedro and Lecia. They are super humble and super nice!!! They set up a table with treats and drinks for us when we got there! We got to talking and they completely opened up to us and told us some amazing experiences they had. Lecia told about her experience when she was in a coma. She talked about how she left her body and how a lot of stuff happened. When I listened to her, I felt the spirit super strong and I knew it was true. She said how she saw her brother and a lot of her family that had already passed away and how she loved it there, but that a superior being told her that it wasnt her time yet and that she still had to go back. I told her that she came back because she needed to talk to us. She just smiled and said thank you. It was a super powerful lesson. I had an interview with President Fillmore over a video chat. It was super awesome. He told me that I was going to stay here in the Azores for another transfer and a few other things. Im super excited to stay here!!! I love this area!!! Im learning so much here and I feel like I still have so much more to learn here. 
After that, we cultivated a huge part of land with one of the members. It was a ton of work!!! We pulled out tons of huge rocks!!! He was going to do it all by himself!!! Lets just say ol´ Elder B has gotten a little out of shape over the last while!!! hahaha!!!!
Tiago, one of our investigators, was interviewed over a video chat by Elder Freeman. It was pretty cool. He passed and was baptized this Sunday and will be confirmed this Sunday. It was such an amazing experience!!! The spirit was so strong there. His girlfriend, Inês who is a member, got up and gave a talk on baptism. She got up with a huge smile from ear to ear and kept saying how happy she was!!!! There was one moment where she looked down and started crying because of how happy she was. That made me so happy and I felt the spirit super strong. The whole branch was super happy and super supportive. It was a super amazing Christmas week!!!
I love you all soooo much!!!! Thanks so much for all your prayers and love!!! They surly are making a huge influence on me and many others here in Portugal.

I love this letter!!! He is so happy .... I like his experience cultivating , and his “take-home” from that.... out of shape!! Haha. I love the picture of the greenery miniature nativity scene. That was ...wow. Love his experiences.

Dear Family, How y'all been?!?! You all look so good in your pics that you are  sending me! Seriously such an awesome family!!!!! It was an amazing Easter week this week. This week was sort of taken  over by meetings. We spent almost an entire day at a zone conference. It was actually super neat. Im really loving all the meetings we have  to learn and become better missionaries. One thing that our mission is  really focusing on right now is boldness. Its actually something I  really need to learn. Our president is amazing! He speaks to us with a  lot of power and authority. He told us that boldness was not being annoying or even forceful, it was teaching the gospel with clarity and  firmness. He said the way to develop that was be first, believing in  the gospel, then having faith, then repenting, then feeling the Holy  Ghost, then continuing with the process.
