Week 5.5: Surprise news

Hey family!
This is an emergency email. Nothing bad, dont worry. So this morning, we found out that our visas didnt come in. So, as you might guess, that means we will temporarily be serving somewhere else until we get our visas. It wasnt until lunch that we got our calls, well temporary calls. When I got the mail, I handed out everyone's mail, making sure not to peak at our new assignments. We all got together and had each person read like we were all getting our mission calls for the first time. I made sure to get pictures; I'll send them to you later. We went one person at a time. People were reading their calls, and everyone was getting super excited when they read.
It got to my turn. I flipped it open. I read it out loud: "Dear Elder Barton, at this time, we have not received your visa to travel to your mission. You will be serving a temporary assignment in the Idaho Boise Mission." Wow! Crazy! Woodwards, here I come!!!! I am super excited!!!!! 
So, from what I see, I will be flying out the 27th 11:20 am from salt lake city(salt lake city intl) and arrive 12:37 pm Boise( Air Term Gowen Fld). about 1:17 hours nonstop. I'll be flying delta air lines DL 5695. I'll see if I can send you guys picks of the travel service info. Anyway, love you guys!!!!! Cant wait!!! Let me know if you need anything else from me.

Woohoo for Boise! Walker country! I am so excited and sure hope he gets to rub shoulders with some of my family!

Dear Family, How y'all been?!?! You all look so good in your pics that you are  sending me! Seriously such an awesome family!!!!! It was an amazing Easter week this week. This week was sort of taken  over by meetings. We spent almost an entire day at a zone conference. It was actually super neat. Im really loving all the meetings we have  to learn and become better missionaries. One thing that our mission is  really focusing on right now is boldness. Its actually something I  really need to learn. Our president is amazing! He speaks to us with a  lot of power and authority. He told us that boldness was not being annoying or even forceful, it was teaching the gospel with clarity and  firmness. He said the way to develop that was be first, believing in  the gospel, then having faith, then repenting, then feeling the Holy  Ghost, then continuing with the process.
