Meus queridos!!!! How y'all doin!!!!  Man, this week was fantastic! We were super blessed this week with a baptism. Her name is Leandra and she was a golden investigator! It was super amazing!!!!  We actually met her through an indirect contact on the street. She had already started quitting smoking before we even met her, literally 2 days before we met her! We taught her once the day before last Sunday, she went to church with us and loved it, then we taught her again throughout the week and she was baptized  this Saturday ! It was super neat! We taught her with this one guy in our ward named Rafael this one night at the church. He served a mission in Brazil and they baptize like crazy there, so I payed really close attention to a lot of the things he did.  One thing I thought was super funny and awesome was at the end when she started asking how the baptism would go. Rafael told her to stand up and then literally took her step by step and practically baptiz...

Hey there family!!! Heres to my final week in Linda-A-Velha!!!! Ill be transferred to another area called Almada and serving with a new companion, Elder Davis. Its sort of weird thinking I´ll be serving in another area, not Linda-A-Velha. I sort of got used to L-a-v after being here for a pretty good amount of time. It feels like home to me. I honestly think I could walk all the streets with my eyes closed! haha! This week, we really worked hard to reach our weekly goals and to get a baptism. Unfortunately, we didn't get to the baptism, but we excelled all of our weekly goals. We worked super hard! I'm noticing how I'm working almost the same amount as I started, just differently and we are seeing much better results!  We had an amazing experience  this Friday  with one of our investigators. We had an appointment set with her after our english class in the church. we had literally prepared the entire week for this lesson, praying, studying, calling her and sending ...

Dear Family, Hey there party people!!! You all sound like you are all doing really well!!!! I love all the letters I´m getting from you all!!! You all are seriously so kind and just the best family ever!!!! This week was awesome! I´m gonna call this week judgement week!!!! Ya, I learned a lot this week.  On monday  morning, we went out to teach one of our investigators marked for  this saturday . She expressed some doubts and was still apprehensive about baptism. Continuing throughout the week, we called her every day and visited her every day we could. She seemed to be doing fine, but we were a little worried about her. She should have been baptised last sunday, but she wanted to put it off until  saturday . One thing I learned about being a missionary is that opposition is real, and if you don't choose a side, someone or something else will choose for you. When we mark someone for baptism or we even mark a visit with someone, we are pretty urgent, and from the ...
