Hey Family!!!!! Hope you all are doing well!!! It looks like you are all doing well from what you are sending me!!! I love you all so much!!! It also sounds like Dad had an amazing birthday!!! So, this week was a testimony builder week. There was this one family we visited who have a grandson that lives with them. Their grandson's dad will not let him join the church, but it could go either way for him after he turns 18. We have never actually met with him, just his grandparents who are returning less actives. Before we went over to their house, I was reading in the Book of Mormon and just thinking how amazing it was! I randomly got an overwhelming spirit of the joy I have felt as I have read the Book of Mormon. I thought to my self why I could not feel that same joy all the time! I feel like I am so quick to forget those feelings I have felt in the past. When we went over to their house, Elder Degiuli and I wrote our testimonies in a Book of Mormon that the grandmother was goi...

Hello family!!!!!! There have been a lot of miracles this week! I cannot write them all, but it has just been amazing! There was a day that happened recently that I literally titled in my journal, "Day of Miracles." We were sort of going all over the place that day visiting a bunch of families. We were just biking around going from place to place. We had a few plans set about some people to visit later in the day, but we decided to go around knocking doors and finding people in the street for a while. As we were going to visit one house, I remember feeling like we should visit a certain house that told us to come back later. We did and turned off onto that street. Right when we got there, the wife suddenly pulled up. Wow, perfect timing. We talked and were able to get some contact info to schedule for another visit. Wow, amazing! Then, we were on our way to visit another house. Suddenly, I got another impression to go visit a certain family. We did. It was an elderly coup...

Hello  Family!!!! I just want to start off and say how much I loved that package!!!! That was so much!!!!! I was not worried about food at all this week!!! haha!!! I love the photos and the letters!!! That was my favorite part!!! All the little toys and halloween decorations were so much fun too!!! I set it all up as soon as I could!!!! You'll see in the pictures. The food is delicious!!! I'm going to be honest, I plowed through so much of it so fast! It is all so good! When I pulled out the figit spinner, my companion said, "Oh no!" It was pretty funny. I couldn't stop thinking about mom this week. I hope you can see the videos I sent on google drive. Anyway, this week. I had some really neat experiences this week. A lot of this mission, Elder Degiuli has been sick. He is not contagious, there is just something going on with his stomach. He is getting it figured out with the mission physician and seems to be doing better today and yesterday. We had to stay in...

Hello family!!! I love reading all of the updates on you guys. Dont have much time, so I'll start rn. I'm just going to go over the highlights of the week. On Pday, we walked and ran in to a guy who was a returned missionary, very old, and left the church a while back. He had a lot of concerns about the church, specifically Joseph Smith. I listened to the talks about Joseph smith that I have on my player and am currently getting the other missionaries into it. It is so neat that I  "coincidentally" ( though there are no coincidences), have a talk about Joseph giving me a testimony and answers to specific questions he had. I have not run into him yet, we could only give him our number and could not get his contact info. but, I am hoping I will be prepared next time I meet him. That also brings me to another experience we had. We were knocking doors before an appointment we had with like 5 min left. We walked up to a door and saw a ton of people around in a ci...

Week 7: October 2, 2017

Hello family!!!! What a week it has been! I'll start from the day I got to Boise.  So,  wednesday , we woke up extra early to get to the airport. I tried to talk to some people on the way there. I was a little shell shocked after leaving the MTC, but I was so excited that I was finally going to go to the mission field. When I called you guys at the airport, that was so awesome! It was pretty hard to hear you guys, I was squeezing the phone super hard against my ear, but you all gave me so much encouragement! We got on the plane, and I sat next to a person who was visiting family in boise. She was a member and was super nice. We landed and met the Assistants to the President the President and sister Bartlett. They were all super nice. We were instantly taken to the mission home, and there, we had a really nice meal. Yes, I did go back on to gluten and the food was delicious! I wanted to see if I was going to have a miraculous miracle and be healed. more on that later. the p...
