So, we already had the emotional face time, hehehe, so Ill just write about a few more things that happened this week. My testimony of the word of wisdom skyrocketed this week!!!!  In one day , we had a ton of things happen to us!!!! We visited an investigator named Joao Pedro. When we got to his house, only his mom was there. We just talked to her outside of her door. She told us about some concern for her son and about some things that were going on. Just a little bit after, Joao showed up. he was pale and looked in a rush. We asked him how he was doing. He said, not good. Then he showed us a handful of drugs. And said he had to go. We walked away and were just in shock. He later called us and asked us if we could come back to his house the next day to help him stop. We did. He seems...

Hey there party people!!!! You all sound so good!!! Love the Christmas pics!!! You look like a pretty good looking family! Love all the Christmas decorations in the house too! Super fun!  This week was super fun! We had a Christmas conference with a lot of the missionaries there. It was so much fun! Sister Tavares even got me a bag of gluten-free treats especially for me!!!! We got hear president and sister Tavares speak, and we got to participate in and watch some acts performed by the missionaries. It was super fun and super funny! Each district just did some acts making fun of some of the worst situations that could happen in missionary work. We also got to hear some of the missionaries play some instruments and sing. It was awesome, and the spirit was super strong at that moment. There have been a lot of moments where when I feel my mind is in the right place or that I am ready for something that God needs me to do, something awesome always happens. There was one point we...

Olá Família! I hope all is well at home and on the colorado trip! I cannot believe how much things seem to be changing at home! Dad, it sounds like you have a lot coming your way! Crazy! Everyone must thing you can take care of the whole world or something! And, ya , the language is pretty interesting. I´ve been able to contribute here and there and talk to some people on the street, but it is all very basic. I feel like I am being pushed to learn and grow every day. My companion speaks very fast too! I feal like I am learning more spanish than Portuguese! I have to adjust to hearing actual people from portugal after hearing my companion talk in his spanish accent. I actually love it! I notice my attitude has everything to do with the language too! If I am upbeat and excited about learning, it is much easier. I have also been reading the Book of Mormon out loud in Portuguese out loud like you told me to. Carter sounds like a beast tearing it up on the court! Chloe, thanks for stickin...

He was super nice and we were able to teach him the whole restoration on teh flight and give him a Book of Mormon! He even started reading it on the plane! I was so happy! Hey Family!!! What a week it has been!!!! So crazy!!! I found out   Wednesday  that we got our visas! So exciting!!!! We leave today, and I am just sending a quick email before I head to the airport! I am going crazy in my mind right now! There is so much going on in my head! To be honest, I thought I would not ever really feel like Boise would be a home for me. As soon as I got the call that we got our visas, I got excited and sad. I realized Boise was my home for a while. I'm getting really sad thinking about the people I am leaving. I'm really going to miss them. I really feel like we were just getting started!!! I really wish I could have seen some things play out. Another time or another place perhaps. We had a great week!!! Preparation day, we got to go see the capital! It was so pretty!!! we walked around the whole inside and I got some sweet pictures! That night was a packed night. We had a ton of visits.
